ABOUT WORKSHOP
Welcome to the 1st International Kurdistan–Italian Scientific and Cultural workshop
This workshop brings together esteemed professors, young researchers, and academic representatives from Kurdistan and Italy to foster scientific collaboration and cultural exchange. Organized by the Kurdistan-Italy Friendship Association (KIW) in partnership with Salahaddin University-Erbil, Tishk International University in partnership with some other Kurdistan Universities. This landmark event features a series of lectures, discussions, and cultural activities over two days.
Highlights
– Opening remarks by representatives of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Salahaddin University, Tishk International University, KIW and the Italian Delegation Leader, celebrating past achievements and exploring future opportunities in Kurdistan-Italy collaborations.
– Several keynote lectures will be delivered by prominent Italian and Kurdish professors and young researchers focusing on various scientific and cultural topics reinforcing the importance of international cooperation.
– Roundtable Discussions will be held to enhance academic partnerships through signing MOUs, developing collaborative programs, and producing joint research outputs. Additionally, Kurdish and Italian cultural performances, along with offering traditional dishes and drinks during breaks will be showcased.
